PERFIL DOS CASOS DE SIFILIS CONGENITA NO MUNICÍPIO DE PINHEIRO-MA DE 2013 A 2022

A Revista Acadêmica Online, com prazer, introduz o estudo intitulado “PERFIL DOS CASOS DE SIFILIS CONGENITA NO MUNICÍPIO DE PINHEIRO-MA DE 2013 A 2022" de lavratura dos pesquisadores: Caroline Aparecida Martins de Souza, Joelma Veras da Silva, Dayanne da Silva Freitas, Iara Mendes Gomes Azevedo, Gabriela Melo Nazar, Tiago Felipe Araújo Ferreira.

Objetivo: Descrever as características epidemiológicas maternas, bem como dos casos notificados de sífilis congênita no município de Pinheiro - MA, no período de 2013 a 2022. Método: Estudo retrospectivo descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa, no qual foi analisado o perfil epidemiológico das mulheres que tiveram filhos com SC no Município de Pinheiro maranhão, registrados no Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação (Sinan), disponibilizados de maneira online e gratuita. Os dados foram coletados em julho de 2023 e exportados para uma planilha do programa Microsoft Excel. Resultado: No período de 2013 a 2022, foram notificados 29 dos casos de SC no Município de Pinheiro - MA, sendo possível observar o ano de 2022 foi o ano com o maio número de notificação 34,48% seguido pelo ano de 2017 com 20,69% das notificações, Quanto as características sociodemográficas dos casos notificados no município, observou-se que a maioria era composta por mulheres gravidas, adultas na faixa etária de 20 a 34 anos, pardas, residentes em zona urbana, com ensino médio completo 27,59%. No que tange às características da assistência pré-natal, verificou-se que 75,86% (n=22) realizaram o pré-natal. No que se refere ao tratamento do parceiro concomitantemente à gestante, a maioria não realizou o tratamento. Conclusão: Este estudo evidenciou o perfil dos casos de sífilis congênita no município de Pinheiro – MA demonstrando um crescimento nas taxas de incidência ao longo da série temporal, os resultados podem contribuir para a ampliação das políticas de ações em saúde, reduzindo as taxas de incidência de SC.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To describe the maternal epidemiological characteristics, as well as the reported cases of congenital syphilis in the municipality of Pinheiro - MA, from 2013 to 2022. Method: A retrospective descriptive study, with a quantitative approach, which analyzed the epidemiological profile of women who had children with CS in the municipality of Pinheiro, Maranhão, registered in the Information System for Notifiable Diseases (SINAN), available online and free of charge. The data was collected in July 2023 and exported to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Result: In the period from 2013 to 2022, 29 of the CS cases were notified in the Municipality of Pinheiro - MA, being possible to observe the year 2022 was the year with the highest number of notification 34.48% followed by the year 2017 with 20.69% of notifications, As for the sociodemographic characteristics of the cases notified in the municipality, it was observed that the majority was composed of pregnant women, adults in the age group of 20 to 34 years, brown, living in urban areas, with complete high school 27.59%. With regard to the characteristics of prenatal care, 75.86% (n=22) had received prenatal care. With regard to the treatment of partners concurrently with the pregnant woman, the majority did not receive treatment. Conclusion: This study showed the profile of congenital syphilis cases in the municipality of Pinheiro - MA, demonstrating an increase in incidence rates over the time series, the results can contribute to the expansion of health action policies, reducing CS incidence rates.
