ASPECTOS RELEVANTES ACERCA DA CORRUPÇÃO, DESIGUALDADE SOCIAL E DIREITOS HUMANOS

A Revista Acadêmica Online, com prazer, introduz o estudo intitulado “ASPECTOS RELEVANTES ACERCA DA CORRUPÇÃO, DESIGUALDADE SOCIAL E DIREITOS HUMANOS" de lavratura dos pesquisadores: Alysson de Almeida Lima, Daniel Carlinni Brasil Barbosa, Ailton Luiz dos Santos, Luciano Balbino dos Santos.

Este artigo investigou a complexa inter-relação entre corrupção, crescimento econômico, segurança pública e direitos humanos, explorando como estes elementos interagem e afetam as dinâmicas sociais e políticas contemporâneas. O estudo discutiu a seguinte questão norteadora: Como as diversas formas e manifestações de corrupção influenciam o crescimento econômico, a segurança pública e os direitos humanos em diferentes contextos sociais e culturais? O objetivo desta pesquisa foi desvendar as multifacetadas influências da corrupção, observando seus impactos tanto em ambientes macroeconômicos quanto no cotidiano dos cidadãos, e como isso afeta a estrutura dos direitos humanos e a segurança pública. O método de pesquisa utilizado foi uma análise aprofundada da literatura existente, abrangendo revisões históricas, estudos de caso e teorias econômicas, com foco particular no contexto brasileiro e na emergência do capitalismo de vigilância. Concluiu-se que a corrupção, em suas diversas formas, continua a ser um desafio significativo, impactando negativamente a equidade social, a eficiência econômica e a integridade das instituições democráticas, e que reformas legislativas e econômicas integradas, juntamente com uma governança transparente e participativa, são essenciais para combater eficazmente este problema persistente.

ABSTRACT 

article investigated the complex interrelation between corruption, economic growth, public security, and human rights, exploring how these elements interact and affect contemporary social and political dynamics. The study discussed the following guiding question: How do various forms and manifestations of corruption influence economic growth, public security, and human rights in different social and cultural contexts? The aim of this research was to unveil the multifaceted influences of corruption, observing its impacts both in macroeconomic environments and in the everyday lives of citizens, and how this affects the structure of human rights and public security. The research method used was an in-depth analysis of existing literature, encompassing historical reviews, case studies, and economic theories, with a particular focus on the Brazilian context and the emergence of surveillance capitalism. It was concluded that corruption, in its various forms, continues to be a significant challenge, negatively impacting social equity, economic efficiency, and the integrity of democratic institutions, and that integrated legislative and economic reforms, along with transparent and participatory governance, are essential to effectively combat this persistent problem.
