A ATUAÇÃO DO FONOAUDIÓLOGO NAS GAGUEIRAS DESENVOLVIMENTAIS

A Revista Acadêmica Online, com prazer, introduz o estudo intitulado “A ATUAÇÃO DO FONOAUDIÓLOGO NAS GAGUEIRAS DESENVOLVIMENTAIS" de lavratura das pesquisadoras: Francisca Laura Ferreira de Sousa Alves, Taynara kessya dos Anjos Oliveira, Thais Barbosa Santos, Mirian Silva Santos, Vilma Pereira Rubim Nunes, Analice Sá Da Cruz.

A gagueira é distúrbio psicomotor que afeta a comunicação humana, podendo atingir todas as faixas etárias. O tratamento fonoaudiológico vai depender da idade do indivíduo e o grau de risco apresentado, ou seja, a terapia realizada em crianças com gagueira é diferente em adolescentes e adultos. O objetivo desse trabalho foi compreender atuação e o trabalho do fonoaudiólogo nas gagueiras desenvolvimentais. Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática de literatura, com a seguinte questão de pesquisa “Como o fonoaudiólogo atuafrente a casos de gagueira desenvolvimental?” Os descritores foram selecionados utilizando-se a ferramenta DeCs e a partir destes foram realizadas as buscas bibliográficas nas bases de dados Scielo, LILACS, MEDLINE e Google acadêmico, utilizando-se as palavras-chave "Fonoaudiologia", "Disfluência" e "Gagueira do Desenvolvimento", entre os anos de 2018 a 2022 e ao final foram selecionados 6 artigos. De acordo com a revisão a atuação da fonoaudiologia é fundamental para definir se essa disfluência será resolverá por conta, por ser lago comum no desenvolvimento ou se necessita de uma intervenção terapêutica especifica nos músculos da face, melhora da tensão articulatória, na elaboração de um processo terapêutico específico para esse paciente e especialmente na orientação familiar. Pela revisão de literatura realizada, foi possível constatar que a família é um agente determinante para que bons resultados sejam obtidos na terapia. O fonoaudiólogo não conseguirá sanar ou diminuir a disfluência gaga se a família não estiver atuando em conjunto com ele.

ABSTRACT: 

Stuttering is a psychomotor disorder that affects human communication and can affect all age groups. Speech therapy treatment will depend on the individual's age and the degree of risk presented, that is, the therapy carried out in children who stutter is different in adolescents and adults. The objective of this work was to understand the role and work of the speechtherapist in developmental stuttering. This is a systematic literature review, with the following research question “How does the speech therapist act in cases of developmental stuttering?” The descriptors were selected using the DeCs tool and from them bibliographic searches were carried out in the Scielo, LILACS, MEDLINE and Google academic databases, using the keywords "Speech Therapy", "Disfluency" and "Developmental Stuttering ", between the years 2018 to 2022 and in the end 6 articles were selected. Agreement with the review of speech therapy performance is essential to define whether this disfluency will be resolved on its own, as it is common in development or if it requires specific therapeutic intervention in the muscles of the face, improvement of articulatory tension, in the elaboration of a therapeutic process specific to this patient and especially in family guidance. Through the literature review carried out, it was possible to verify that the family is a determining agent for good results to be obtained in therapy. The speech therapist will not be able to remedy or reduce stuttering disfluency if the family is not present together with them.
